Stairtreads
Lichtgitter customized and standard treads are manufactured in the same types and surface structures as the associated landings of press-locked gratings, welded gratings and FRP-gratings. Hereby, the staircase has a continuously consistent look. We achieve optimal safety of the stairs by introducing perforated nosing. The treads can be made in the materials steel, stainless steel or fiberglass.
Welded grating treads
Stair treads of welded gratings consist of a specially shaped and perforated nosing, a tread made of welded gratings and perforated side plates. To facilitate the assembly and to enable tolerance compensation, the side plates are always provided with a borehole and an oblong slot.
Perforated nosing edges increase the sustainability of stair treads and specifically mark the front edge visually. This contributes significantly to the safe use of a staircase.
